When are We Having CPT Exams in 2020?

CA Exam Dates for CPT: CPT exams are being held on Sunday 16th June 2019.  

What are the CA CPT Exam Timings and CPT Passing Criteria for June 2020 Exams?

In order to pass the CA CPT Examinations, a candidate is required to secure,  following marks in one sitting:

• A minimum of 30 percent marks in each Section
• and a minimum of 50 percent marks in the aggregate of all Sections,

subject to the principle of negative marking. The test will be held on Sunday  16th  June 2019

Is this the Last Attempt to CA CPT Exam?

According to ICAI guidelines, this would be the last attempt in CPT, henceforth the students will be enrolled under the newly revised scheme CA foundation course as an entry level to the CA course.

When is the Exam or Application Form Available for CPT June 2020 Exams?

The CPT Application form will be available from 4th April to 24th April 2019. Students can apply online during the time. Students can also apply online for CPT exams till 2nd May 2019 with late fees.  

Is There Any Change in CPT June 2020 Exam Pattern?

Till now no changes have been notified in exam pattern. The previous CPT pattern will be followed by  CPT June 2019 exams.

Only objective type questions will be asked for all sections.

The CPT exams are for a total of 200 marks from all 4 sections.
There will be negative marking for every section, i.e. ¼ of marks will be deducted for every wrong answer.
CA CPT Exam Pattern/Paper pattern is divided into 4 sections.
The schedule for the CA CPT June 2019 Exam is divided into two sessions of 2 hours each

First Session(10.30A.M. to 12.30 P.M)Morning Session

Sec A – Fundamentals of Accounting 40 marks  
Sec B – Mercantile Laws 60 marks

Second Session(2 P.M.to 4 P.M.)Afternoon Session

Sec C – General Economics 50 marks
Sec D – Quantitative Aptitude 50 marks

Is There Any Change in CPT June 2020 Examination Syllabus?

No there is no change in CPT syllabus. 

Do I Receive Any Receipt After Registration for CPT June 2020 Examination?

Yes, you get acknowledgment receipt by ICAI  on your screen and only after that your CPT admit card is uploaded under your login id

Should I Carry My CPT Admit Card to the Examination Hall?

Yes, you need to carry your admit card to the examination center.

When Will ICAI Declare CA CPT June 2020 Result?

The CPT result will be declared in one month after completion of the exam.

When Will I Get Result Card?

It will be published at New Delhi Office after one month from the end date of CPT examination, and later would be displayed on the website.

Will I be Issued Pass Certificate?

No pass certificate will be issued to CPT students.  Pass certificate is issued after clearing both groups of IPCC level.

Can I Verify My Answer Sheet?

Yes if you are willing to, you can verify within a month of declaration of result. You need to pay a fee of Rs 200 through demand draft.
