ICAI allows candidates to register for CA Intermediate course through two routes. There is a direct entry way; And the second is the base path. Let us understand the difference between the two routes.

1- Foundation Route

ICAI has divided the Chartered Accountancy course into three levels – CA Foundation, CA Intermediate and CA Final.

2- Direct Entry Route

Candidates who have completed Graduation/Post Graduation or are in the final year of completing their courses can opt for ICAI Direct Entry Registration for CA Intermediate course.

Documents Required for CA Intermediate Registration - 6 STEP

– Candidates must submit the following documents to the concerned ICAI Regional Office within seven (7) days from the date of online CA Intermediate 2023.

-Those seeking admission through CA Foundation route must submit attested copy of Class 12 marksheet.

- Attested copy of (ICMAI) Graduation/Post Graduation mark sheet or Intermediate level examination must be submitted.

– One recent color photograph (properly pasted on the printout of the CA Intermediate 2024 Registration Form)

- Attested copy of proof of nationality (if the candidate is a foreigner).
