Every commerce student dreams of becoming a Chartered Accountant (CA) one day. CA Foundation by Institute of Chartered Accountants of India helps the CA aspirants to achieve their goals. CA Foundation Exam is a must for the aspirants who want to carve a niche in the sector of business accounting.

What is CA Foundation?

CA Foundation is an exam conducted on a national level in the month of May & November. It is taken up by the candidates who are aspiring to become Chartered Accountants in India. In compliance with the Chartered Accountants Regulations 1988, Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) conducts and administers CA Foundation Exam twice every year.

Results: The Results for CA Foundation Exam will be tentatively published within 2 months after the exam is completed.

Correction Window: If you have made a mistake in the application form, ICAI will provide a correction window and in this period you can change the mistakes.

CA Foundation Eligibility

The aspirants must have passed 10+2 level (Senior Secondary) qualifying examination from a national or state-recognized Board of Secondary Education in India. The aspirants are required to register/ switch over to Foundation with Board of Studies (BoS) of ICAI.

Candidates should get his/her registration to Foundation Course re-validated in case it has been three years from their CA Foundation registration. This is because the CA Foundation course registration has a validity of three years.

Basic eligibility criteria are given below –
