CA Final Registration 2022: Eligibility, Steps to Apply, Fees

ICAI is accepting the online CA Final registration with the Board of Studies (BOS) at its official website for the year 2022. Although the registration for the CA Final course can be done anytime throughout the year, it is wise for the candidates to register for the course as soon as possible, as the course preparation requires time. Registration for the course must be done keeping the time period in mind such that the candidates can cover up the entire course and prepare well by then. The exam application form of the CA Final 2022 is released which you can fill from 14th February 2022 till 13th March 2022 for the May 2022 attempt Students should note that there is no cutoff date to register for the CA Final course. The candidates can register as per their preparation status.

After crossing the Intermediate examinations, the students begin their article training under a Licensed Chartered Accountant. It is during this duration they acquire the practical problems and face the real-life situations faced by every accountant. The article ship training period is what makes the candidate ready for CA Finals. 

CA Final Time table and admission dates-

The Application date for CA Final Exams May 2022 starts from 31st March to 13th April 2022. The Students need to apply online for the Exams at the official website of ICAI. Students should note that ICAI has not made any changes in the examination center/zone and timings for the final exams. It will be conducted in the same examination centers at the timings, i.e. from 3 PM to 6 PM (IST).

CA Final Course Eligibility: 

The eligibility criteria for CA Final New Course are as follows:

1. The applicants should have passed both groups of the CA Intermediate Examination.
2. The candidates should successfully complete the Four Weeks of Advanced Integrated Course on Information Technology (IT). And also of Soft Skills including courses on Advanced Information Technology and Management Communication Skills throughout the last 2 years Articleship training but before appearing in the CA Final Exams.

Documents Needed for the Registration Process:-

Here is the list of documents required for the registration process:-

1. A confirmative copy of the proof of Nationality
2. In case the candidate is a foreigner, he/she is requested to submit the attested copy of proof of special category.
3. Mark sheet of the Intermediate exams.
4. The ICITSS Certificate

Steps to register for the CA Final exams 2022:

Step 1: Registration as a new user

• Open the main website of ICAI.
• Click on the “New User Registration option
• After a new page opens, enter your details like name, gender, date of birth, email ID, etc.
• Click on the “Register” button.
• An OTP is sent by the site to the candidate
• input the OTP in the provided space and click on the “Submit” button

Step 2: Login using your new user Id and Password

• After the student submits the OTP, he/she will receive a message that they need to log in with the registered email id and password.
• Enter your User ID created along with its Password.
• Click on the ‘Login’ button.

Step 3: Filling in the candidate’s details in the Registration Form 

Now the candidate has to fill all the necessary information in the CA Final Registration Form. The details which are required to be submitted during the CA Final BOS Registration are:

• Father’s Name
• Mother’s Name
• City 
• Pin code
• Residence address
• Caste certificate
• Nationality

Step 4: Uploading necessary documents/ images in the CA Final Registration Form 

After filling in all the required details, aspirants should upload the scanned images of their photograph (passport size), signature, College Leaving Certificate, etc.

Upload images in the CA Final registration form with measurements: 21cm x 27cm (width x height).

After submitting the images, click on the “Save” button and proceed to pay the Registration Fee.

The candidates should keep in mind that they must submit the documents within 7 days of the date of registration along with the printout of the online registration form, which the student signs duly.

Step 4: Pay the CA Final Registration Fee

Paying the fees is the last step of the process.

BOS Registration Fee:

The Students need to pay the below mention fees for the registration for the CA Final course.

Registration fees: – ₹22,000 or $1,100

Mode of Payment – The candidates need to pay the registration fee Online via any mode.

What After CA Final Registration is completed with BOS?

After completing the registration, candidates must fill and submit the application form along with the payment. The ICAI website officially releases the application form. ICAI does not make offline forms available; students should exercise caution. The candidates should be mindful while filling their registration form and not make errors/ mistakes, as they are the final information to be provided. Thus, students should provide appropriate, precise, and accurate information. After submitting the main form, students should refrain from making useless rejoices and start focusing on their path ahead, initiating their preparation as soon as possible. They should always remember that every minute they waste will incur a significant cost during exams. Also, they should come up with a proper guide for their preparation. CA Final Course 2022 Registration Validity:

Now that the student has registered himself/herself for the CA Final Examination, the validity of this registration process is 5 years. In any case of the worst scenario, if the students fail the CA Final exam in his first attempt, he has several more attempts to go, and that too without any payment of any sort of extra registration fees for the CA Final examination. He/she can study the entire course or desired units again and apply for the examination after completing the study period for 6 months. 

But the aspirant is needed to pay the CA Final Examination fee every time he/she appears for the exams in order to get a revised and updated study material.
