The Chartered Accountancy course in India is divided into three steps and each step has to be cleared to move on to the next step.
The steps include:
- CA Foundation
- CA Intermediate
- CA Final

They need to upload the following self-attested documents at the time of registration:
(i) Domicile Certificate
(ii) Proof of Identity – Aadhaar Card / Passport / Voter ID.
CA Intermediate Course Fees:
After CA Foundation Examination the next step in Chartered Accountancy course is registering for Intermediate Course. The student has to pass the CA Foundation, in order to become eligible to enrol for the CA Intermediate course. The Intermediate course fees structure is as follows –

Here too Students from newly formed Union Territories of Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh and North – East States need to pay only Rs 4500/– for both groups and Rs 3250/- for the single group if they register between 20 September 2019 and 31 March 2022.
The intermediate course is divided into two groups consisting of 4 subjects each. The students pursuing the CA course after 12th after giving Foundation course exam have a choice to enrol themselves either for a single group or both groups at a time.
ICAI has facilitated students who have done graduation or post-graduation to directly enrol to the CA Intermediate without appearing in CA Foundation. Such students have to pay the CA intermediate fees of the prospectus at the time of their enrollment and they also have to enrol for both groups at a time. Cost of Prospectus is Rs. 200 (US $ 20).

Articleship Training Fees:
After completing the CA Intermediate course every student has to undergo three years of mandatory Articleship under a certified CA. The registration charges set by ICAI for Articleship training is Rs 2000.
ICITSS
Apart from Articleship students also have to undergo a 4-week course on ICITSS which is Integrated Course On Information Technology and Soft Skills registering for Articleship Training. The fees for Information technology course is Rs 6500/, while the fee for Orientation program is stated at Rs 7000/
AICITSS
Advanced Integrated Course on Information Technology and Soft Skills (AICITSS ) is another course students have to complete compulsorily in the last two years of articleship. The total fee of the course is Rs 14,500/ out of which Rs 7500 is for Advance Information Technology Program and Rs 7,000/ is for Management and communication skills.
