CA Foundation Subjects 2021:
The exam for CA foundation is held twice a year – once in the month of May and second in the month of December. CA Foundation is the entrance door to get started in the field of Chartered Accountancy. CA Foundation subjects is divided into four papers. Each paper carries 100 marks. Paper 1 and Paper 2 are subjective while Paper 3 and Paper 4 are objective type. The objective papers will also have negative marking and 1/4th of the marks will be deducted for each wrong answer. The paper can be given via English or Hindi medium in an offline mode. The students appearing in CA exams must score a minimum of 40% marks in each paper and an aggregate of 50% in total to pass the CA Foundation exam. To score good in the exams students must know the complete CA Foundation subjects & books from they should study.

CA Intermediate Subjects 2021:
CA Intermediate is the second level to become a qualified Chartered accountant. The CA Intermediate subjects are divided into two groups. Each group consists of four papers.
1) For clearing both groups simultaneously, it is necessary for a student to –
a) Secure at one sitting a minimum of 40% marks in each paper of each of the groups and a minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate of all the papers of both the groups; or
b) Secure at one sitting a minimum of 40% marks in each paper of both the groups and a minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate of all the papers of both the groups taken together
2) If the student is opting to appear in one group at a time then –
a) he/she will be declared passed in a group when they secure at one sitting a minimum of 40% marks in each paper of that group and with that a minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate of all the papers of that group.
After clarifying the CA Intermediate exams, students are also required to take a four week integrated course on information technology and soft skills (ICITSS) before joining the practical training/articleship under a CA. It is to be noted that students can join practical training only after passing either or both Groups of CA Intermediate subjects 2021.
