CMA Foundation is the entry level exam for the students who want to pursue a CMA course. This course is designed by board members of ICAI (Institute of cost and management accounting). CMA foundation exams are conducted twice a year in the months of June and December. This year due to pandemic CMA foundation is going to conduct in the month of July 2021. ICAI CMA Foundation Important Dates:

Every year exams are conducted by ICAI twice in the months of June and December. As stated CMA foundation candidates must register themselves four months prior to the examination. Students need to register themselves in the month of January to appear in the June exam and register in the month of July to appear for exams in the month of December.

CMA Foundation Course Eligibility:
Students of commerce, science and arts who have completed their 12th examination are eligible to register for CMA foundation exams. Commerce students have a slight advantage of opting this course as they are familiar with the subjects. Science and Arts students can also apply for a CMA course with the same enthusiasm as they have a good analytical approach.
Students after appearing in 12th board exams from any recognized board can register for the CMA foundation course. Graduate or postgraduate students can apply for this course directly by registering themselves for the CMA intermediate course.
CMA Foundation Syllabus:
The CMA Foundation course has four subjects.
1) Fundamental of Economics and Management
2) Fundamentals of Accounting
3) Fundamentals of Laws and Ethics
4) Fundamentals of Business Mathematics & Statistics
Each CMA foundation paper weightage is 100 marks and duration of 3 hours. CMA foundation syllabus is updated by the ICAI so students are advised to study with the latest syllabus which is available on the official website.

Eligible students can fill the CMA foundation application form online. Those who want to register for CMA foundation exams need to fill the form before 31st July to appear for December month exams. How to Apply for CMA Foundation Online:
Follow the steps given below to fill the CA foundation registration form under New syllabus 2016. This year exams will be conducted in the months of July and December. As July exams forms are closed, students should start filling the CMA foundation application form for December 2021 exams.
Note: Students must fill the form four months prior to the exams. The last date to fill the CMA foundation application form is 31st July for December exams.
