3. Business Mathematics, Logical Reasoning and Statistics
4. Business Economics and Business and Commercial Knowledge
As already mentioned above that Accounting is the main subject of the Chartered Accountancy course so you must have in-depth knowledge of all the topics in your course. You can take the help of tutors for this subject in the given study duration of four months.
The next subject is Mercantile Law, this subject is fairly new for the Science and Commerce students. This gives you a fundamental understanding of Corporate law and thorough knowledge of Contract Act, Partnership Act and Sales of Goods Act etc. All these subjects are in General English. A proficiency over the English language is a must.
Moving forward to the next subject that is Business Mathematics, Logical Reasoning and Business Statistics. This subject is a favorite among science students as it is a combination of Maths, Statistics and Logical Reasoning. 20 marks are allotted to Logical reasoning and the remaining section of the paper is divided between Maths and Statistics.
Thereafter, Business Economics and Business and Commercial Knowledge is the fourth and last subject at the CA foundation level. Commerce students are already familiar with this subject. But you need not worry if you are a science student as the subject is quite easy and you don’t need to go into in-depth of this subject. With the proper study and guidance, you can easily clear this paper.
“Principles and Practices of Accounting” and “Mercantile Law and General English” are the first two papers which are subjective and “Business Mathematics, Logical Reasoning and Business Statistics” and “Business Economics and Business and Commercial knowledge are the next two subjects which are objective”.
