CA Intermediate exams are stage two exams conducted under the Chartered Accountancy course in India. Earlier known as IPCC, it is now converted to CA Intermediate with some changes in syllabus and patterns. It has eight subjects in total that a student is supposed to cover in the study period allotted to them. Exams are conducted in the month of July and December. For this year, ICAI has released CA Intermediate Time Table 2021 on their official website on 10th August 2021.
The group system (a division of subjects) is what makes this exam easier, as the group consists of four subjects, and a candidate is supposed to pass all four papers in order to clear the group. Failure in one subject eventually results in the failure of the entire group. Thus, in simple terms, the student fails in all the subjects if he fails in anyone, resulting in the repetition of his study.
