Paper 1 and Paper 2 are of subjective types. Whereas Paper 3 and Paper 4 are of objective types. The whole Foundation examination is of 400 marks and every paper is for 100 marks respectively.
Negative marking is applicable only for objective papers wherein any wrong answer will deduct 1/4th mark in the paper.
The exam is taken into two mediums – English and Hindi, except Section B of Paper 2. It is mandatory to answer this part of the question paper is in only English Language.
Passing Marks for CA Foundation Examination:
After giving the CA Foundation Exam, the students should be getting-
- At least 40% marks in each of the papers.
- At least 50% marks in total of all the papers, after deducting the negative marking.
