What is CA Foundation?
CA Foundation is an exam conducted on a national level in the month of May & November. It is taken up by the candidates who are aspiring to become Chartered Accountants in India. In compliance with the Chartered Accountants Regulations 1988, Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) conducts and administers CA Foundation Exam twice every year.
Results: The Results for CA Foundation Exam will be tentatively published within 2 months after the exam is completed.
Correction Window: If you have made a mistake in the application form, ICAI will provide a correction window and in this period you can change the mistakes.

CA Foundation Eligibility –
The aspirants must have passed 10+2 level (Senior Secondary) qualifying examination from a national or state-recognized Board of Secondary Education in India. The aspirants are required to register/ switch over to Foundation with Board of Studies (BoS) of ICAI.
Candidates should get his/her registration to Foundation Course re-validated in case it has been three years from their CA Foundation registration. This is because the CA Foundation course registration has a validity of three years.

How to apply for CA Foundation?
Candidates can follow these steps to apply for CA Foundation:
- Candidates can visit the official website www.icai.org and click on the ‘login/register’ icon.
- Register yourself as a ‘New User’ by filling all the required details and then by clicking on
the & ‘Register’ button. - You will receive your login ID and password on your registered email id.
- Now login and fill your details and address details for registration and save the details.
- Then fill the academic details, exam centres option, etc in the application form.
- Pay the application fee for CA foundation and then upload your scanned photograph and signature and click on the submit button. Now you have completed the application process.
